all caught up
ok, so a lot has happened since "the dirtiest job ever". for starters, i now believe the dirtiest job ever to be wallpaper removal. that's right. 3 rooms, 2 hallways and 1 stairwell. the sad thing is that there are still 2.5 bathrooms, 1 bedroom, 1 stairwell and 1 dining room remaining. we are taking a much needed break for now though.
i actually tried to upload photos on 2 separate occasions and got so irritated that i said blog be damned, i don't have time for this. i'm going to go back and at least put some pics in so that when posterity comes a calling, we haven't lost 4 months. or 8, or whatever.
so, let's see. i have a 2.3 year old and an 8 month old. they love each other so much that it cracks us up. bridget hugs and kisses andrew - doo, or doober, or buddy - practically non-stop. this may seem great but its actually terrifying as her latest technique is to put him in a headlock and squeeze. she is great at making him laugh and getting him to stop crying. she is his favorite toy - actually, i suppose that he is hers as well.
bridget talks and sings and dances like a fiend now. her favorite christmas song this year was "jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells..." you get the picture? luckily, she's cute. her favorite phrase is "I do it." for everything. tying her shoes is especially fun. she is still a daredevil and loves jumping off of a big rock in the backyard. she loves her fake hairdryer and make-up , her stroller and her purse. yes, she's my kid. what can i say, it must be innate.
andrew has 2 teeth, a devious smile and holds on to you when you pick him up - very tightly. he just figured out how to move forward on the ground yesterday. the belly is still controlled by gravity but he's getting there. he loves food and hates having his face wiped. he laughs like crazy when you pull his socks off or open up a dirty diaper or say "poop" - which i just realized means that he is definitely a man in training.
we just had our 3rd wedding anniversary the other day and are very excited about having more years under our belt than kids. what a concept!
